よく、パーティーの場で話さない方がいい話題として、政治と宗教の話はしない方がいいと言われる。(あるいは、スポーツもそうかな、特に、違う町から来た人がいる場合には)
けれど、僕らはクリスチャンバンドであるから、すでにパーティーの場に宗教ってやつは持ち込んでしまった。
そして今、世界が揺れ、大きく動き、変化している。
そんな時に黙っていることはとても苦しい。
だから、ただこれだけを言わせてほしい。あまり上手とは言えない英語で。
心配はいらない。ただの意味のないポエムに過ぎないから。たぶん、そのうち歌詞のアイディアに使えるかもしれない。

どうもインターネット上、ソーシャルメディア上で、政治的な発言や政治的な主張をすることが苦手だ。
なぜなら自分が本当に伝えたいことは、たぶんもっと違うことだからだ。
何が起こっているのかもわからない。
誰と誰が戦っているのかもわからない。
誰が味方で誰が敵なのかもわからない。
何が真実なのかもわからない。
本当のことがわかってるやつなんて誰もいやしないだろう。
だからわかっていること。
戦争なんてものがあるとすれば、戦いはとっくに始まっている。
戦っているのは、世界中の人々、と、この世の支配者。
主義もイデオロギーも政治も関係ない。
拮抗しているのは、LOVE(愛)、と、HATE(憎しみ)
問われているのは、信じること、あるいは、目を反らすこと。
あらゆる情報が錯綜する現代では、愛というものをしっかりとつかんでいなければ、すぐに憎しみに足を掬われてしまうだろう。
許されるなら、いろいろな場所に出向きたい。
様々な主張をしたい。
言葉を投げかけたい。
でも、なぜだろう、僕にはそれが許されていないみたいだ。
愛を伝えるってことは、大切なことで、
人それぞれに、与えられた使命があり、表現方法がある。
たぶんいつか、自分が本当に言いたいことを、言える日が来る。
お前ひとりいなくたって、世界は回る、と、神さんが笑っている気がする。
「人々」よ。
世界中の「人々」よ。
君たちのことを信じている。
世界はまかせた。
祈ります、イエス・キリストの名前にて。

We are not good at saying something political on social media.
It is said that 2 things you should not talk about at a party is religion and politics. (Or maybe sports, especially when you are from a different town)
But we have already brought “religion” to the party, because we are a Christian rock band.
And the world is trembling, shaking, changing rapidly.
It’s very hard for me to remain silent.
So for now just let me say this, in my not-so-good English.
Don’t worry it’s just some pointless poetry. Maybe we can turn it into song lyrics sometime later…

For some reasons I’m not good at making political statement on Social Media.
I guess that is because, what I want to tell you is something different. Something bigger.
No one knows what is happening.
No one really knows who is fighting against who.
I don’t even know who is an enemy and who is on our side.
Does anybody know what is the truth?
Probably no one is seeing the whole picture of things.
So here is some things that are certain to me.
Some people talk about war, but the war is already on us.
It is a war between people of the world and the ruler of the world.
It has nothing to do with ideology or political views.
Just 2 things. LOVE and HATE.
The choice is whether you believe or deny.
In this modern world with all those information rampant, you can easily get fooled and taken over by hate.
Now if allowed, I want to go to all those places.
I want to make my statement.
I want to say those words.
But, for some reasons why, it doesn’t seem like allowed to me.
You should say the message of Love.
You should convey the message of Love to the world.
It is very important.
But everyone has been given his/her each mission in life.
Everyone has been given his/her way to express it.
Maybe someday, I will be able to say what I really want to say.
It feels like God is smiling to me saying “Don’t worry. The world is spinning even when you are asleep.”
So, here is to you, “people”.
People from all around the world.
Take care of the world for me.
Because I believe in you.
